Sandra Amorosi is an Australian musician and emerging writer.

Her creative journey began with a musical career under the tutelage of the late Wagnerian tenor, Jon Weaving. Trained as a dramatic soprano, Sandra discovered her inherent connection with the raw emotion of opera and orchestral music. As a student of the Victorian College of the Arts, Sandra featured in the initial segments of ‘Operatunity Oz’ (ABC) and went on to produce various notable concerts in Melbourne. She also performed in operas such as Pagliacci (Leoncavallo), Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni), L'Elisir D'Amore (Donizetti), Un Ballo in Maschera (Verdi) & Madama Butterfly (Puccini).

Her introduction to Film and TV included work on productions such as Blue Heelers (Southern Star Group), Neighbours (Grundy Television), Bastard Boys (ABC), Queen of the Damned (Warner Brothers Pictures) and Knowing (Summit Entertainment). Sandra also went on to provide musical scores for a number of short student films.

Sandra is currently completing her Bachelor of Creative Writing at Deakin University and developing her novel / screenplay after a promising stint at a recent Hollywood PitchFest.
